The remodel begins.

I hear complaints mostly about the inconveniences that people who live here will have. Honestly I wonder if most people ever think about how they may inconvenience other people in their everyday life as they go about getting what they want. But I suppose that is for them to determine.

The biggest complaints are concerning removing trees in the back. Huge trees that were planted too close is the word. I was sure they would remove all the landscaping that was in the way, including the trees. Well of course, that is the way man is. If it's in my way I will move it, even if it is another living thing.

Chuey is watching from the bed. I wonder if I can make a platform for him right in front of the window. Instead I moved the bed over. He will be able to see more now.  I feel fortunate I'm on the second floor instead of the first. Not as likely something will crash through my window. I do wonder how much the scaffolding will block my windows.

And I suppose that's it for sleeping past 8 or 9 am.
